1st Birthday Cake Smash Photography Sessions

A cake smash photo session is a fun, joyful way to celebrate the milestone of a little one’s first birthday. You'll get to capture the baby’s curiosity and delight as he or she tears into a beautiful birthday cake. A cake smash session is a great way to express a baby’s unique personality. They get to relax and be carefree. Babies grow fast; encourage your clients to book a 1st birthday session. You can capture this moment for them to cherish for a lifetime.  

Let clients know that they should book their cake smash portrait session at least 2 months in advance. This will give you time to find a photo backdrop that fits the theme of their birthday. If your client is providing the cake, outfit and/or props, they'll need time to order these items. We often see custom outfits from Etsy used for cake smash portraits. Custom outfits can easily take 2 - 4 weeks to arrive.
